The Journey from Map to Book
How Myrddin's World Came Into Being

The last update on this blog was about the map of Myrddin's world.
Since then, I've spent countless hours researching, revising, querying agents, refining the story, and preparing the manuscript for publication. What began years ago as a simple idea is finally becoming a published book.
One of my greatest motivations for writing The Tales of Myrddin comes from my lifelong love of stories that explore the struggle between good and evil. As a child, I was captivated by stories such as David and Goliath, where courage, faith, and character mattered more than strength and power. Those themes have stayed with me throughout my life and have found their way into Myrddin's journey.
My goal is to explore how a legend begins. Years ago, I wrote about Myrddin as an older man. Eventually, I realized I wanted to discover who he had been as a boy. What experiences shaped him? What choices formed his character? What mistakes did he make before becoming a figure of legend?
That curiosity became Angels' Prayers and Demons' Magic.
Throughout my life, I have felt called by God to encourage young people to grow in wisdom, character, and faith. My hope is that this story not only entertains readers, but also offers lessons about courage, friendship, responsibility, and the consequences of our choices.
If I can accomplish even a fraction of what Tolkien achieved in creating a world that readers love to revisit, I will consider Myrddin's world a success.
As this book prepares to enter the world, I invite you to begin your own journey into the land of Myrddin. Along the way, you will discover a young boy faced with difficult choices, growing responsibilities, and challenges that test both his character and his courage.
Will he always make the right choice? Certainly not.
Will he make mistakes? Many of them.
But it is through those choices, successes, and failures that the real Myrddin begins to emerge.
And that is where every legend begins.
